ELEMENTS

ELEMENTS is a long-term project exploring the four foundational materials of a physical world where humans are in charge.

Once, the base elements of the world's creation had been considered to be Earth, Air, Fire and Water – the modern and future worlds are and will be built these four: Concrete, Steel, Plastic, and Ammonia.

The ubiquity of these materials, dating back through many centuries of human use, allows me to photograph entirely within my own home county. Side projects may include to creation, use, enjoyment and endgames of materials around the world, but always relating to how they come home.
